North Korea executes Jang Song-Thaek, uncle of leader Kim Jong-Un

The official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Thursday said that Kim Jong-Un's uncle, Jang Song-Thaek, has been executed days after being removed from office.
Jang was dismissed earlier in December with North Korean officials citing a string of criminal acts including corruption, womanizing and drug-use. He was once considered the country's second-most powerful official behind his nephew Kim.
