Abdel Hady to replace Makhzangi on constitutional committee

Interim President Adly Mansour issued a decree on Thursday appointing Alaa Abdel Hady, member of the Writers Union, as a reserve member on the 50-member Constituent Assembly, tasked with amending Egypt's Constitution.Abdel Hady will replace Mohamed al-Makhzangi, according to the decree, after Makhzangi said he would not continue in the role.Reserve members take part in meetings but have no voting rights.Edited translation from Al-Masry Al-Youm
