Pump up your hair Volume

Limp hair owes its poor condition to higher cuticle porosity and loss of elasticity.  Porous hair – depending on outside humidity – either dries out excessively or absorbs more moisture, becoming lighter or heavier, respectively, and making proper hair care extremely difficult.
High humidity weighs hair down so that it loses its volume, and collapses heavy and straight.  With very low humidity, hair gets static and 'flies away' standing out from the head.

Here are tips to follow when your hair needs volume:
• Have it trimmed regularly.
• Choose a style best suited to your looks and hair type.
• Use clarifying shampoo to remove styling buildup.
• Wash your hair every day, apply conditioner regularly, and rinse thoroughly.
• Use volumizing products.
• When styling, lift the hair at the roots.
• Don’t pile on styling products to avoid weighing the hair down.
• Avoid touching your hair once you have finished styling.
• Use low heat setting when blow drying the hair, hot air stimulates sebum secretion so that hair loses its style already after 15 minutes.
• Use volumizing mousse:  apply the mousse to the roots, then dry the hair giving it a lift, and finish with blowing cold air.
Most importantly, take your vitamins and stay healthy for a lustrous look.
