Removing your makeup after a long day out with friends can be really
boring and exhausting. As much as we would like to skip this whole
time-consuming process and just go to bed, we just can’t get ourselves
to do it. Sleeping in your makeup can be the worst thing you can ever do
to your skin so here are 7 tips that will help you remove eye makeup in
no time.
1-Slowly Girls: tugging and pulling at your lashes will only cause breakage and fall out. The slower and gentler you are, the easier the process.
2-Using a hot towel can help loosen up your stiff mascara a little bit and facilitate removal. Soak towel in hot running water and apply over eye-lids for a few minutes.
3-Buy some coconut oil from your local apothecary and use it all over your body. Coconut oil is very beneficial for the skin, hair, and even lips. Dab some coconut oil on to a cotton ball and slowly remove mascara and eye liner. Don't get oil in your eyes.
4-Vaseline. Yes, Vaseline. Using a dollop of Vaseline on a cotton ball can help you remove tough makeup. Do not get any in your eyes though.
5-Avoid the facial wash. Do not scrub or tug at lashes in any way. Remove the mascara first using any of the mentioned methods, and then wash your face using a gentle cleanser.
6-Use olive oil. Olive oil is full of vitamins especially Vitamin E which is the most important and nutritious vitamin for the area around the eyes. Mixed with Almond Oil, they can both efficiently remove tough eye makeup and also reduce thin lines.
7-Your usual oil-free makeup remover can and will remove your mascara. Just a few swipes with a cotton ball and all your eye makeup will be gone. Oil-free is better for the skin to avoid clogging pores, and is better at removing eye makeup than any other type of remover.
