Summer vacation is over & It’s back to school time!

The summer holiday is over & it’s time to be back to school , Some students are waiting for this day anxiously as the others are concerned. And parents in both cases are preparing for this return, but buying books and stationery is not enough, yet the psychological preparation of the student is of the same importance. So To facilitate the return of your children to school you have to :

Accustom the student with the new timing: After a beautiful summer evening and late wakeup morning , the child needs to be accustomed to the new daily routine.

Prepare your child psychologically: Mother must talk with her child about school days before the date of back to school .

Reassure the student: The child feels Anxiety when hearing that it’s time to back to school , it seems so obvious when he starts to cry when his mother talking with him about the school, and you will hear the words: I do not want to go to school, and this is normal. So mothers must understand his Anxiety and try to Calm him down by talking with him about how beautiful is the school.

Purchase stories dealing with school: It is well known that the child identifies with the hero of the story read. The story that deals with the theme of the school, talking indirectly about the feelings of anxiety and tension and fears that haunt her hero, which reassures the child who faces the same difficulties and realize that these things will end a happy ending.

Prepare a bag containing school supplies: Things that can be put in the bag that the child will emotionally attach to it.

The Day of “Back to School”: the mother has to wake up early to avoid the very rapid preparation. It is necessary for the child to take time waking up and eating a healthy breakfast.

Take him to school: The mother can take her child to to his classroom if he wishes to do so. And if it is not able to do so they should not feel guilty, but they have to explain it to him, and trying to allocate his time evening to speak to them about what happened in school today.
