Egyptian Jewellery Designer Azza Fahmy makes Fashion Week

It’s every woman's dream to be part of fashion week, whether it’s in the audience or the model, or even backstage with the designers and creatives. Well, Egyptian Jewellery guru Azza Fahmys dream just came true.

The infamous Azza Fahma was one of very few people who got the chance to train with masters of Egyptian jewelry design in Cairo’s Khan al Khalili. After pursuing a degree from London in Jewellery design and craftsmanship and practicing her hobby day in day out, 40 years later Azza Fahmy became the leading jewellery designer of the Arab world and Egypt’s first designer label with distribution outlets in London, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, and Dubai.
The company’s managing director, Ms. Fatma Ghaly (Azza Fahmys daughter) announced yesterday that Azza Fahmy Jewellery will be collaborating with British fashion designer Matthew Williamson and showcasing at London Fashion Week this Sunday. The “Azza Fahmy for Matthew Williamson” catwalk collection for the SS14 LFW show will be showcased on September 15^th.
Next Spring, you can purchase from that collection at the Matthew Williamson flagship store in London or all Azza Fahmy boutiques and points of sale and through their online store. We’re very excited to see Egypt shine on the British runways.
