MTV Europe Music Awards 2013: Miley Cyrus and other VIP arrivals

The awards, held at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, saw stars like Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding and even actor Will Ferrell taking to the red carpet. Eminem has been named as this year's Global Icon. The Press Association quotes the shows executive producer, Bruce Gillmer, as saying: 'Eminem has sold over 80 million records worldwide and his new album is
shattering records. He is one of the most creative, unique and pioneering artists of our time.' Miley wore an outfit to pay tribute to music legends Biggie Smalls and Tupac, featuring their faces on the front and a slogan on the back saying: 'Please stop violence'.

Kevin Mazur/Wireimage-Miley and Ellie cosy up for the camera. In the run up to the big ceremony, Ellie announced that One Direction's Harry Styles has won the MTV EMAs Best Look award. Well done, Harry! Ellie is one of the nominees for the MTV UK / Best UK and Ireland Act award.
